WOW! What an amazing day we had this week over at the Halifax Indoor Football Centre. Over 200 pupils from various schools across Calderdale spent the day competing in 90 games. Nearly 350 goals were scored from the first game through to the final. A big thank you to our Youth Team players who helped referee and organise the games. We hope that all of the players had a great time and that we see them in future events like this.

A big thank-you to the boys and girls from Hebden Bridge Saints Junior Association Football Club Dragons squad as they helped out pitchside for last week's match against Hartlepool and did a great job. The result didn't go our way however we hope that the team had a good day at the Shay and we hope we see you all back soon.

Last Saturday during our match against Hartlepool, Walsden St. Peter's faced Sacred Heart CV Academy in our half-time football match. And what a game it was, with a rash of goals both teams had the lead at times. Walsden came out winners with the last kick of the game.
