Last weekend Salterhebble Junior and Infant School battled hard against Holywell Green Primary School in our half-time football game. An even contest from the beginning that went all the way to penalties with Salterhebble coming out victorious. Hopefully the boys enjoyed their experience of playing on the pitch and getting a taste of the sprinkler system. If your school wants to take part get in touch: community@fchalifaxtown.com

A big thank-you to the boys at Greetland FC who helped out pitchside for last weekend's match against Solihull, doing a great job. We hope they enjoyed their day and watching the win. We are looking forward to seeing you all back at the Shay soon.

Last week we hosted some mini 3v3 matches for our Under 8/9 futsal group. We invited some local teams to come and play in a round robin format. The event was a great success with lots of smiles, goals and fun had by all those involved. A big thank you to Greetland FC, Clifton Rangers YFC and Beacon Rangers JFC for coming along.
