Thank-you to all the FC Halifax Town   supporters who kindly donated to our bucket collection at the Tamworth match on Easter Monday. We raised a fantastic £265 for the FCHT Foundation, which will go towards supporting all our Calderdale based programmes. Our junior futsal players from the Y6/7 age group did a great job collecting on the day. We’ve been treated to some wonderful weather so far this week on camp. It was another great day yesterday. From spending the morning playing three tense games of Jailbreak and Small Sided Games to the afternoon spent playing Cuppies. It was great to see some of the boys from our Futsal Programme compete in the half-time football game today. Boys from our Year 6 and Year 7 groups took part in the game. They provided great entertainment for the crowd who got behind the boys throughout the game, in what was a very high scoring affair. Thank you to Ovenden West Riding u12 Alphas. They were our ball boys today as the Shaymen took on Tamworth in the National League. The lads did a great job pitch-side in a game that ended in dramatic circumstances. We hope you enjoyed your afternoon of football. We very much look forward to seeing some of you back down at The Shay in the future!
