A big thanks to Huddersfield Amateur Junior FC U11 team who were the pitch-side helpers on Saturday for our early KO against York They did a tremendous job and even managed to add another player (AC) to their squad for their match on the Sunday. We hope they enjoyed the day at the Shay and that we see them again soon.

We had a close game between Trinity Academy St Peter's and Old Earth on Saturday, it was as tense as the 1st team match. Old Earth scored a winner in the last couple of minutes, and both teams put on an entertaining game. Under a new format the teams will now take part in an end of season competition. We hope that the two teams had fun during their time at the Shay and that we get to see them again soon.

FC Halifax Town U19s continued their strong start to the NLFA North Division season with another point as they hosted Blyth Spartans. The Shaymen have only lost once in five this season and this strong start sees them second in the league table, five points from the summit. The squad have also advanced to the next round of the Youth Cup, defeating AFC Fylde 2-0 last Wednesday. FC Halifax Town is seeking to appoint a coach to work on a part-time basis within our Academy and Youth Team Programme. Working hours are as follows – Youth team -  The coach would be required to work on a Monday and Tuesday leading sessions as well leading a fixture on a Wednesday daytime with occasionally driving the minibus to away fixtures. Academy -  The coach would be required to work on a Monday and Friday evenings leading sessions as well as leading a fixture on Satur
